As certified members we provide parents with added reassurance that all procedures are carried out to the highest professional and safeguarding standards. By choosing a member of the Initiation Society, families can be confident that their baby is in experienced, regulated and safe hands.
We highly advise and recommend "traditional method" done by us, which is with a combination of the latest modern techniques, rather than with plastic ring method which takes longer to proceed, and will cause excessive unnecessary pain for your baby, plus it is not comfortable for the baby after the procedure in the coming days. Our traditional method combined with the latest modern techniques results in reduced pain for the baby, much quicker procedure, easier aftercare, cleaner and more hygienic, rapid healing, nicest results and lots more. That’s why we believe baby and parents will be most satisfied. See reviews from satisfied parents about this matter.

Although circumcision can be performed at any age, it is best done within the first month of life. The ideal time is in the first week, provided the baby is healthy and a suitable weight. At this age, babies are less aware, experience less discomfort, and heal much more quickly.
Many families delay circumcision due to concerns about cost, timing or comfort. However, postponing the procedure often results in increased discomfort, a longer recovery period and higher costs. Choosing to proceed within the first month is usually the most beneficial option for the baby, as it is quicker, gentler, and easier to recover from. Support from family and relatives can help parents feel confident in making this decision early on.
Medically, the same high standard of care and hygiene is provided for both practice-based and home visit circumcisions. Families who choose a home visit can be reassured that the procedure is carried out with the same professionalism and care. The same would be for circumcisions at our practice as the travel would not disturb most babies. The baby can be placed in a car seat and would drive home safe and sound.
The only real difference is just about convenience and cost. Home visits are more expensive but more convenient and easier for parents, Whereas circumcision at our practice is much cheaper but not as easy as doing it in your own home.
In the way the circumcision is done, there is no difference at all. Although the ceremony, before and after, may differ according to religion or culture.
Please bath your baby before the circumcision and make sure he is fed about 1 hour prior to the procedure. Other than that, no special preparation is required.
No. Both parents do not need to attend; however, consent must be signed by both parents where applicable. If one parent cannot attend, their handwritten signature on the same consent form is sufficient and can be sent with the attending parent or by email. We will clearly advise you on exactly what is required. Single mothers are fully accepted where no father is listed on the birth certificate, by signing as the sole holder of parental responsibility.
We provide everything required for the circumcision and aftercare, including all necessary medical items and appropriate pain relief. Parents do not need to prepare or purchase anything medical in advance.
All that is required on the day are normal household baby essentials, such as nappies and wipes. As well as a couple of muslins and the Red Book.
The foreskin is surgically removed from the penis. It is one of the most commonly performed procedures worldwide and is completed using modern techniques designed to prioritise safety, precision and comfort.

Without using stitches, ring or plastibell, we isolate the foreskin away from the penis below it, and safely and quickly remove it with a scalpel and apply a clotting bandage, all within a matter of seconds. The bandage can then be removed after a few minutes, making this technique the most comfortable for your baby. This method also reduces the risk of infection and allows the healing process to begin right away.
In newborn babies, around 95% of circumcisions take only a few seconds. In slightly older babies, such as those aged two to three months, the procedure typically takes one to two minutes.

The younger the baby, the less they tend to feel, as they are not yet fully aware. Most babies are easy to settle shortly after the procedure. While every child reacts differently, some may be a little irritable or cry, which is completely normal and can be managed with appropriate pain relief.
It is also common for babies to sleep a little more afterwards, and pain relief usually helps them settle comfortably. Older babies may experience slightly more discomfort, but this can still be effectively managed with pain relief. Parents should feel confident handling and carrying their baby as usual, as the area is well protected with secure padding.
Yes she can. We have a waiting room where she can stay and she will be called in right after the procedure is finished (which is normally a minute or two), for the aftercare explanation.
In very young babies, anaesthetic injections are not usually necessary, as the needle itself can be more uncomfortable than the procedure. For newborns, a topical anaesthetic spray is used and is more than sufficient. If the baby is slightly older, an anaesthetic cream may also be applied to provide additional comfort.
It will take approximately 7–10 days to heal fully, and usually no longer than two weeks. Healing is often quicker because the dressing is removed within a few minutes.
Some babies, though; may feel irritable, but this should not last more than a day or two, depending on the babies age. Parents are also asked to send follow-up images after 2 weeks to ensure complete healing.
This is NOT an infection. This is whitish discharge which comes with the routine healing process, which will settle down within a couple of days.
No this is not at all a worry and is perfectly normal. The only concern is heavy bleeding which is very uncommon and can easily be sorted.
It isn't necessary. Sending images is enough. However, you are welcome to bring him in if you prefer.
Complications are very uncommon. Minor spotting or light staining is normal and not a cause for concern. Significant bleeding is extremely rare, occurring in approximately one in 10,000 cases, and is treatable if it does occur.
